Layover in Ireland

We just stopped in Shannon, Ireland at 2am central time, but it's light out and I'm not tired at all. I think I'm going to try not to sleep on our next flight to Kyrgyzstan so that I start shifting to this new time zone. A coffee at the airport may be a necessary accessory toward that endeavor. Coffee is an option, but though we're in Ireland, Guinness is not. The military has specifically instructed everyone that alcohol of any sort is prohibited. ISAF rules also prohibit Jeff and I from partaking. News stands in Ireland are stocked with papers lauding the killing of Bin Laden. I guess it's no surprise that it's major news here too. It's just interesting to actually see it at the forefront of news outside the US.
